Communities Channel Scotland was launched in 2014 as a place where community groups could find information, ideas and inspiration to help them achieve their aims.

It does this by highlighting useful resources, providing accessible guides to relevant policy and sharing great examples of community groups in action.

The website also hosts the Social Impact Pledge, a Scottish Government initiative which asks public sector organisations across Scotland to commit to increasing their social impact by committing to changing three aspects of their current operations or policies.

The website was refreshed in 2021, with the aim of making it even easier for you to find and share useful content. There’s plenty of new stuff too, including a series of ‘hot topic’ sections focused on inequality, climate change, human rights and other pressing issues.
