Open Data Scotland
/Open Data Scotland acts as a central hub for finding open data from all around Scotland, including in your local area.
Open data is data that can be freely used, re-used and redistributed by anyone - subject only, at most, to the requirement to attribute and sharealike. See Open Definition for more.
From the Open Data Scotland site you can visit open data sites of different local authorities in Scotland, and find data relating to everything from more important issues such as air quality management and community council boundaries to the more trivial such as baby first names.
