Evidence for Success
/If we want to have influence over what happens in and to our communities, we need to engage with evidence. This includes taking part in the design, collection, analysis and use of evidence.
That’s the starting point for Evidence for Success, a series of guides which support you to engage with evidence in different ways to influence policy and practice and to improve your own work with your communities
The four Evidence for Success guides are:
Evidence for success – offers easy to follow, step-by-step guidance and resources to use evidence to improved policy and practice.
Collaborating with academics – provides practical guidance on linking with academics around evidence.
Evidence from elsewhere – a guide to using secondary evidence.
Engaging with evidence – an introduction to some of the main ways communities can engage with evidence.
The guides have been produced by the Knowledge Translation Network (KTN), which is a working group carrying out a range of activities to support people in communities and working in the third sector to recognise and use evidence.
