Groups can join the John Muir Trust for a small cost, which enables access to a range of benefits, from discounts on outdoor retailers to taking part in events.
You may also have heard of the John Muir Award which encourages outdoor activity, learning and personal development as well as positive action for green spaces and nature. At least 25% of John Muir Award participants experience inequalities due to financial circumstances, disability or health challenges and the award has been used in youth work, mental health support, addiction recovery, and with unemployed, ex-offenders and the elderly.
