Planning Democracy
/Planning Democracy is a community-led organisation campaigning to strengthen the voice and influence of the public in the planning and development of Scotland’s land. It aims to deepen democratic control and promote environmental justice.
It has a network of dedicated volunteers and advisers, including over 200 communities and individuals who campaign with Planning Democracy and provide assistance to people with planning problems.
In addition to running campaigns and providing a peer mentoring programme linking up groups needing help with a peer support network, Planning Democracy provides resources, training, research and case studies, all of which you can find out more about on their website.
