The Place Standard
/The Place Standard is a tool that can help you to think about the physical elements of a place (e.g. its buildings, spaces, and transport links) as well as the social aspects (e.g. whether people feel they have a say in decision making).
The tool provides prompts for discussions, allowing you to consider all the elements of place in a methodical way.
The Place Standard has now been supplemented by the following additional tools:
The Place Standard tool with Climate Lens - offers the opportunity to consider climate change and how it will impact on health and wellbeing and Scotland’s places.
Place Standard tool Children and Young Peoples’ Versions - These versions of the Place Standard tool have been developed to support children and young people participating in conversations about their places.
