Community Health Exchange (CHEX)
/CHEX promotes and supports community-led health, a way for people in a community to take joint action to improve things for their community, leading to improved health and wellbeing.
By bringing people together to take action on what’s important to them, community-led health helps to tackle health inequalities and the factors behind it. See CHEX’s guide to health inequalities.
Most community-led activity fits the description of community-led health, and CHEX welcomes any interested community groups to join its network of community-led health organisations and take advantage of resources, support and other opportunities on offer.
CHEX also provides a searchable database of community-led health organisations, which you can feature on by joining up for free.
