IRISS
/The Institute for Research and Innovation in Social Services (IRISS) is a charity that works with people, workers and organisations in social work and social care to help them use knowledge and innovation to make positive change happen.
Some areas of IRISS’s work relevant to community groups are:
Partnership - IRISS regularly works in partnership with other organisations, supporting organisations and individuals to innovate in social work and social care support. This support comes at no financial cost.
Co-production, or putting service users and communities at the heart of servive design and improvement, is a key focus for IRISS, and they have some useful resources on their wesbite, such as the Co-production Project Planner.
A range of other resources which could be useful, including a guide to Community of Enquiry, an approach that offers space for a group of people to collaboratively explore ideas and ask rich and meaningful questions of each other.
